Climbing!
Mike and I went climbing today in
Cragmont Park in Berkeley.
Cragmont Park is a small park in the Berkeley hills that has a small cliff on it. When you walk down to the bottom of the cliff, you can see into peoples backyards and windows. There are a handful of anchored climbs and on such a nice day as today, I was surprised to not see anyone else there. Here is a photo of Mike at the top of the cliff, to give you an idea.
We got there pretty late so only squeezed in one route before the sun went down. But my palette has been wettened and I'm excited to climb outside some more. Here is a photo of me smiling smugly at my Boston climbing partners. Its January, its sunny and warm, there are no scary icicles hanging from the top of the cliff, no need of putting hand warmers in ones chalk bags...
Also, my mum complained that there are no photos of me on the blog. So here is one. Sorry about the nose-porn.
