Trip Report

I’m back in Hangzhou, a weekend early. Mike and I traveled to Kunming and Lijiang in Yunnan province. Then we went to Beijing. During the trip, things got a bit ugly: we broke up. So Mike is now in Shanghai by himself, hanging out until he can fly to Paris. And I am back to work.

We’re still friends and I don’t think there are any hard feelings. Sometimes things don’t work out. And the stress of traveling, especially in a place as culture shocking as China, easily amplifies incompatibilities.

Over the next week, I’ll fill you in on our trip. I have lots of good photos and stories to tell.
